Allow me to reintroduce myself.
Over the last year, I’ve grown so much. In isolation, I reflected. While parts of me are the same, parts of me have evolved and I think it’s time for a reintroduction.
Hi, I’m Cady.
I am a native Floridian. A lover of sunrises, sunsets, and sunshine in general. For the past several years, I have practiced as an estate and trust litigation attorney. I have learned so much from my practice. Litigation taught me about organization, confidence, and public speaking. The stressful environment taught me about balance and prioritizing. Some days the practice of law sucks. Other days it sucks less.
Regardless, I have learned to manage the stress and negativity by focusing on my needs.
I want to help other professionals in high-stress environments with similar issues - overcoming burnout, recovering from perfectionism, and finding joy in the day to day. I started a coaching business earlier this year to do just that. Everyone has the opportunity to create a balanced, fulfilled life and I want to teach people how and to help them grow. Your life is 100% in your control if you’d only pick up the reins.
My mission is to build confidence in my peers so that they stand up for themselves at work and home, create boundaries when necessary, and choose themselves daily. I want to lead changemakers towards the development of compassionate and respectful work environments. While our daily tasks may be stressful, I do not think our workplaces should be. I think that we can all make a contribution if we live a life aligned with our values and our strengths. If we were all just a little more content, we would be kinder and the world would be a better place.
I think a good way to learn about ourselves is to slow down and reflect. A good mentor helps too. I believe in a routine that enhances my mental and physical health which includes exercise, outdoor time, reading, journaling, meditation, sleepy-time tea, and constant learning. I think humans thrive with connection and that having a good circle of supportive, like-minded friends can do wonders.
On the lighter side, I love funny cat videos, Lisa Frank swag, cake, nonfiction books, traveling, the beach, and dogs with smushy faces. I love being on the water with my family, Halloween candy, training at my local gym, meeting new people, and asking questions. I love motivating and helping others to live their best lives.
If you want to know more about me, or are considering working with a coach, I hope that you’ll contact me. I would be so happy to support you on your path of self-discovery.
